Call For Abstracts - CUJAH's 15th Annual Conference
Deadline: January 11, 2026 11:59 p.m. Eastern
For CUJAH’s 15th annual conference, we invite you to think about the ways that art can be used as a powerful tool to navigate the uncertainty of the future, and envision and enact change and transformation.
“Speculative Futurisms” aims to delve into the ways that art can be used as a tool to imagine the future in a multitude of ways. Art can be a way to radically re-imagine the future and its uncertainties, to advocate for change, and enact resistance. In a time of uncertainty where feelings of precarity loom, it is vital to come together to interrogate and re-imagine these narratives, and art can be a poignant way of doing this.
We encourage undergraduate students across disciplines to apply to participate in this conference, and interpret this theme in unique and imaginative ways that speak to your experiences, knowledge, ideas, and interests. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
